Patrick Winston Young is a twenty-three-year-old graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, discipline public relations, and a Minor in English. Young attended East Carolina University, where he was the editor of a school-sponsored blog, College STAR, based on the transition from high school to college, for students with learning disabilities. Young later developed a podcast named LD State of Mind. Transferring to Appalachian State University, Young continued his work with learning disabilities, leading EYE TO EYE’s ASU Chapter, and by traveling as a keynote speaker for events based on Universal Design Learning (UDL), sharing his personal experience with Dyslexia. In Young's senior year at Appalachian State University, he was apart of constructing Second Story Media, a student-run communication agency serving non-profits in the Boone area.  A current resident of Virginia Beach, Young, Works for a luxury vacation real estate company, Siebert Realty, on their advertisement team.
